EMPYREON: 'Beyond Perception' Video Released

"Beyond Perception", the new video from the New York City-based metal band EMPYREON, can be viewed below (courtesy of Metal Injection). The clip was helmed by acclaimed director David Brodsky of My Good Eye (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, IN THIS MOMENT, THE RED CHORD) and Finnish producer Anssi Kippo (CHILDREN OF BODOM, NORTHER).

"Beyond Perception" is the title track of EMPYREON's self-released debut album.

"Brodsky is the man!" states EMPYREON vocalist Aaron Joos. "His vision is always so clear, and he knows how to convey it without any sort of director-like arrogance. It's just been a great experience so far and hopefully we'll work with him a lot more." Drummer Frank Godla adds, "It's an honor to work with Anssi Kippo as well. When we ran the gamut of audio producers to work with, it was bands like MORS PRINCIPIUM EST and NORTHER that really stood out sonically to us. Once we heard the final mix, we knew we had made the right decision; he's one of Finland's best-kept secrets."

EMPYREON is currently booking late summer tour dates in support of the LP.
